Flomotion at the Big Chill House (14 August 2008)

Nick Luscombe and co provided another great evening's entertainment at the Big Chill House in London with live acts including Origami Dinosaur, Sound Sanctuary and Bombay Monkey (who were launching their fantastic new album, 130 Astronauts).

This was a real photographic challenge due to none of the house lights being operational for some reason (just some dim red floods - the default 'annoy the photographer' lighting setting), but it's good to be challenged sometimes :)

The Big Chill Festival 2008 (part one - Friday)

I'm just back from the festival. I was saddened not to hang around for Leonard Cohen's set (amongst other things) but it was beginning to rain, my lack of sleep was catching up with me, I'd lost my waterproof top, and my feet had come out in blisters - so time to call it a day I thought. I also missed lots of treats because I spent quite a while processing my pictures on-site; on the plus side I can now post those shots without further delay.
